Weekend!!

This weekend I had my best friend who goes to Auburn come down to visit. It was such a blast to see him again. I haven't seen him since around Christmas for like one day, and then we were with family so we never really got to hang out. He is a very hansome guy, 6 foot, tan, and my dream man, and if he's not married when I graduate then we're definantly going to get married! haha! but anyway it was like trollin' down memory lane with him. I miss him already and can't wait to visit him or for him to come again.

Spring Break

My spring break was pretty normal because I worked every night and hung out with my family and a couple of friends. I met a couple of people I have become friends with. And now I'm just focusing on God, school, and work. I'm really trying to work on becoming a better christian and really living for Him. School is my second priority! Because of my classes not being too terrible tough I have kind of slacked off but it's ok, my grades haven't slipped. Work is my third priority, they just promoted me BACK to being a cashier, and I've already been a cashier before but it is a pretty fun job! My work schedule is really good this week even though I work friday and saturday night AGAIN as usual. But I have to go now.

Tennis!!

Yesterday I went home to hang out with my mom and I didn't want to waste the pretty day, so I played tennis!! How much fun! I haven't played since I was about 14 but I was ok and I had a lot of good shots, she thought. So, I'm gonna try and go again today and play again. I love tennis! Maybe I'll get one of those tennis dresses! YAY!

Mardi Gras!!

Well, I usually don't go to the boom booms and this year was no exception. I worked a double on Fat Tuesday and it was totally worth it b/c I made about $170. And that was enough to make me happy! The reason I don't go to the parades is mainly b/c I don't like crowds and I don't like mean people and usually there is a combination of both down at the boom booms. I also am now single and I just wanted to work and work and forget about all the drama going down in my life at the moment, but that's a different story for another time.

Anderson University

This blog site is similar to many others that I found. It's first page connects me to several other student blogs. They write on several subjects ranging in all topics. Anderson University is a Christian college which I find admirable and I think that blogging in their classroom is working quick well.http://www.anderson.edu/admissions/blogs.html Here is one of the students who used blogging.

This blog below is written by a student named Luis Villa. They write about the topic of banning the laptop in the classroom. I'm assuming that means that Luis is in college then. Paragraph on Blogging

The past few weeks in computer I have been blogging. Blog this, Blog that. Blog Blog Blog! anyway, this has been a new experience for me and I think I will continue to use the blog tool. I graduate in 4-5 years so I don't even know if blogging will be "cool" anymore. So, hopefully if it is, I'll try to incorporate it into my teaching career.
My personal experience with blogging has lead me to believe that it could be incorporated into my classroom. I think it would even be easy to use it. Kids are more technologically advanced now a days and by the time I teach, they will probably be showing me how to use the computer program. The positive aspects of the blogging would be that it would open a whole new world of excitement to the younger kids. They might learn more about other students in other schools. Kids who get left out in real life might be more accepted on their blog. The negative aspects would be that kids might take advantage of it and put up bad pictures or be mean to one another, but I think the positive outways the negative. I will definantly try to use blogging in the classroom in the future.

Stand-in Mom!!

I am not the stand-in mom to three young kids. The parents went to Las Vegas and I am staying over night with them at the house for the week! It's great, I love making dinner, and lunches and cleaning up. I can't wait till I get to go pick them up today after school! it's going to be fun!! I'll keep ya'll updated!

Yay!!

This is new to me...
